MobileX launches first hybrid retail model with CallSign Mobile

CallSign Mobile uses Verizon's network through MobileX's wholesale network MVNO agreement with Verizon. Under the arrangement, MobileX provides wireless connectivity, while CallSign manages the customer experience and relationship with the US military veteran community it serves. MobileX founder and CEO Peter Adderton will also serve as an advisor to CallSign.

CallSign was founded by former US Army aviators Adam Marr and Charlie Hill. The company operates as a direct-to-consumer 5G service for veterans, with Marr serving as CEO and Hill as CTO. CallSign said it will donate $1 per line each month to organisations and initiatives focused on veterans, including people affected by brain injuries and post-traumatic stress.
