Orange Cyberdefense and MasOrange announced the launch of Orange Cyberdefense España in Spain to provide digital security services for enterprises, public administrations, and consumers. The new company is part of Orange Cyberdefense, Orange Group's cybersecurity division, which the source said has 3,300 professionals and 36 threat detection centers across 23 countries.
Orange Cyberdefense España plans to deploy its own infrastructure in Madrid and Barcelona and open a local CyberSOC, a security operations center for continuous monitoring and incident management. In its initial phase, the company expects to hire 100 cybersecurity specialists in Spain.
The company's offer centers on DynamicSOC, which Orange describes as an operations center combining advanced threat detection and incident response under an MDR (Managed Detection and Response) model. The service is compatible with third-party platforms including Microsoft, Cisco, Google Cloud, Fortinet, and Palo Alto, and covers mobile devices, endpoints, firewalls, and email.
Orange said the first phase will focus on corporate customers and public administrations in Spain. The company said it already serves more than 500,000 business customers in Spain, including 80% of IBEX 35 companies and institutions such as the Guardia Civil, the Senate, and Adif.
Orange said a second phase is planned before the end of the current year to enter the residential market with a service managed through the Mi Orange app and designed for family and multi-device use. The source also cited Statista data saying 54% of Spanish companies have recently suffered cyber incidents, and estimated the Spanish cybersecurity market at €2.3 billion in 2025 with 10% annual growth.
