Wireless Logic to acquire Algar Telecom's Brazil IoT unit

Wireless Logic said it will incorporate Algar Telecom's IoT connectivity operations into Arqia, its Brazilian business. Wireless Logic acquired Arqia in 2025 as part of its expansion in Brazil.
Wireless Logic said the transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions. The company said the deal is expected to strengthen Arqia's service delivery in agriculture, logistics, payments, utilities, manufacturing and healthcare in Brazil.
Arqia CEO Tomas Fuchs said the acquisition would broaden services and support faster expansion. Wireless Logic said it will integrate the businesses in phases, with Algar Telecom's IoT unit and Arqia continuing to operate separately at first.
