Vodafone cited research saying 55% of Britons believe digital tools make it easier to find career and personal opportunities. Vodafone also said 42% of respondents stated improved mobile connectivity had directly helped them achieve key goals.

Vodafone said its research found that 85% of Britons are pursuing a major life goal but wait an average of two years before acting. The company said financial constraints were cited by 22% of respondents, and unreliable connectivity was also identified as a barrier, particularly for prospective entrepreneurs.
