Tele2 appoints Vahdat Zehtab as next CCO by 1 June 2027

Tele2 said Vahdat Zehtab will become its next EVP and chief commercial officer no later than 1 June 2027. The operator is filling the role after promoting Nicholas Hogberg to president and CEO in July, following Jean Marc Harion's departure for personal reasons.
Zehtab brings 18 years of telecoms experience to the role. He is set to join from Valdyr, where he serves as CEO.
Before Valdyr, Zehtab spent five years leading Telia's B2C Mobile unit in Sweden. Tele2 also cited his commercial director experience across several European and Asian markets, along with additional B2C experience at Ncell in Nepal.
Valdyr announced on 15 September that it had adopted the Valdyr name, replacing Telness Tech. The company said the new brand reflects its focus as the creator of an AI-native network operating system.
