Orange Cyberdefense opens Barcelona and Madrid offices in Spain

Orange Cyberdefense opened offices in Barcelona and Madrid in Spain to expand its cybersecurity business in the country, according to a Mobile World Live report.

Orange Cyberdefense said it is working with MasOrange, its parent group's Spanish unit, to localise cybersecurity services for companies in Spain. The company said Barcelona and Madrid are its initial bases in the country, with 100 experts in place at launch.

Orange Cyberdefense also said it is establishing a Security Centre to respond more quickly to incidents in Spain. Hugues Foulon, EVP and CEO of Orange Cyberdefense, said the number of threats facing Spanish businesses is increasing.

Orange Cyberdefense cited figures that Statista prepared in November 2025 showing 54% of Spanish businesses had experienced a cyberattack in recent years. The company also said Spain's cybersecurity sector grew 10% to €2.3 billion in 2025, and that public sector tenders could exceed €400 million in the coming years. MasOrange CEO Meinrad Spenger said business, public sector and individual customers are asking for more cybersecurity services.
