Mavenir launches network automation framework targeting 60%-75% tasks
Mavenir unveiled an Agentic Service Assurance Framework in a report published by Mobile World Live, with the company saying its AI agents are designed to automate 60% to 75% of routine network operations work.
TL;DR
- Mavenir introduced an Agentic Service Assurance Framework for multi-domain network operations.
- The company said the system is TM Forum-compliant and connects to existing OSS AI agents using TM Forum IG1453.
- Mavenir said its foundation AI agents are designed to automate 60% to 75% of routine network operations work.
- Mavenir did not provide an availability date.
Mavenir said the framework is designed to automate network operations across 5G, cloud-native and IP domains while allowing operators to keep existing infrastructure. The company described it as a multi-agent system with an intent orchestrator and a layered agentic ecosystem built to detect, diagnose, recommend and resolve network faults across multiple domains.
Mavenir said the core of the framework is its Intent Ops engine, which observes how network operations centre teams work, learns patterns behind successful issue resolution and converts those workflows into repeatable automation templates. Mavenir said those workflows are validated against a human baseline before autonomous use, and approved automations are then published to an orchestration catalogue with explainability and guardrails.
Mavenir said the framework supports cross-domain monitoring, correlation and root-cause analysis, with closed-loop remediation built on Mavenir products. The company added that the system connects with existing OSS (operations support systems) AI agents through the agent-to-agent protocol defined in TM Forum's IG1453, which it said lets operators preserve prior technology investments while extending automation across the network stack. Mavenir CEO Pardeep Kohli told Mobile World Live the foundation AI agents are designed to automate 60% to 75% of routine network operations work. Mavenir did not state when the framework will be available.
