Google NotebookLM adds 60-second vertical video for paid users

Google announced that NotebookLM now supports 60-second vertical video generation from user-supplied sources for paid Google AI subscribers, starting today. Google said the rollout covers Google AI Ultra and Google AI Pro subscriptions.
Google said users can tailor the short-form videos to focus on specific aspects of a topic. Android Authority reported that this adds a new short-form vertical video option to NotebookLM alongside its existing formats.
NotebookLM already offers Audio Overviews, which package source material into a synthesized podcast-style conversation between two voices. Android Authority said the new vertical video tool is NotebookLM's third supported video format, and that Google plans to bring it to free users soon.
