Eutelsat signs multi-year 10B capacity deal with Anuvu

Eutelsat signed a multi-year agreement with Anuvu for in-flight entertainment and connectivity services using its Eutelsat 10B satellite, Mobile World Live reported. The deal gives Anuvu access to high-throughput Ku-band capacity from Eutelsat’s geosynchronous Earth orbit (GEO) satellite at 10 degrees East.
Eutelsat said the Eutelsat 10B satellite provides visibility from the Americas to Asia. The company said an unnamed global airline is among the Anuvu customers that will be covered by the satellite under the agreement.
Anuvu said it will mainly use the Eutelsat 10B capacity for services across Europe and the Middle East. Eutelsat said the satellite offers flexible capacity allocation, spectrum optimisation, and multi-beam antennas designed for mobile connectivity.
