Celona adds Wi‑Fi 7 and satellite to private 5G platform

Celona said on August 12, 2026 that it has added Wi‑Fi 7, public cellular and satellite connectivity to its private 5G enterprise platform under a single AI-managed system.

Celona said the combined platform is aimed at enterprise wireless deployments that need to use more than one access technology. The company described the offer as a way to run private 5G, Wi‑Fi 7, public cellular and satellite connectivity together instead of managing each network separately.

Celona said the platform addresses three barriers to enterprise wireless adoption: operational complexity, deployment cost and device shortages. The company positioned the system for industrial and enterprise environments where those constraints have limited the use of private 5G and other wireless technologies.

Celona said AI sits at the center of the platform’s management layer. The company said the AI system manages multiple network types in one platform, covering private 5G, Wi‑Fi 7, public cellular and satellite connectivity.
