Azio AI Holdings signs $2.4 million AT&T fibre deal in Texas
Azio AI Holdings signed a master services agreement with AT&T worth about $2.4 million to provide enterprise fibre connectivity for its first AI data centre campus in Texas.
TL;DR
- Azio AI Holdings signed a roughly $2.4 million fibre connectivity agreement with AT&T.
- The agreement covers Azio’s first AI data centre campus, a 500-megawatt site in Texas.
- Azio said the network will support AI training, inference, GPU cloud computing, enterprise colocation, and other high-performance computing workloads.
- Azio did not disclose a construction completion date or operational launch timeline for the campus.
The agreement covers a 500-megawatt Texas site and sets a standardised connectivity framework across the campus. Azio said the fibre network will provide the high-capacity, low-latency infrastructure needed for AI training, inference, GPU cloud computing, enterprise colocation, and other high-performance computing workloads.
Azio said the connectivity buildout is intended to streamline network deployment as it adds customers under its hyperscale AI strategy. The company also cited a recent power purchase and hosting agreement with a GPU customer, which it said will require a rapid, modular buildout at the Texas site.
Azio said its broader strategy focuses on scalable, liquefied natural gas-backed energy capacity for GPU cloud and AI workloads. The company said it selected the Texas site partly because it can accommodate large-scale industrial infrastructure without the land-use and community constraints that can affect urban data centre projects. Azio did not disclose when construction will finish or when the campus will become operational.
