Anthropic launched Claude for Small Businesses as a configurable offering within Claude Cowork for small and medium-sized businesses in the United States. The company said the package is designed to bring artificial intelligence tools into software already used by small-business owners, including QuickBooks, PayPal, HubSpot, Canva, DocuSign, Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
Anthropic said Claude for Small Businesses includes 15 ready-to-use agent-based workflows and 15 functions built around tasks that business owners say take the most time. The automation platform can browse the web, manage files and run multi-step processes. Paid users can access automated services for accounting, business analysis, document signing and generative tools for advertising campaigns.
Anthropic said small businesses account for 44% of US GDP and employ nearly half of the private-sector workforce, but their AI adoption trails large corporations. To promote the new features, Anthropic organized a 10-city tour across the United States starting in Chicago, Illinois, offering free AI training workshops for up to 100 local small-business executives at each stop.
