Airtel Business and ITI partner on India digital infrastructure

Bharti Airtel's enterprise unit Airtel Business and Indian state-run telecom equipment maker ITI said they have partnered to deliver digital and telecom infrastructure across India.

Airtel Business and ITI said the partnership will combine enterprise connectivity and digital infrastructure services for customers in India. The companies named optical fibre cable (OFC), gigabit passive optical network (GPON), software-defined wide area networking (SD-WAN), private 4G and private 5G, and low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellite services as part of the offering.

Airtel Business and ITI also said the partnership will include secure data center services and sovereign cloud services. The companies described the project as a nationwide effort to support digital and telecom infrastructure in India.
