Jio Platforms Q2 FY27 profit rose 13.7% to ₹8,389 crore

Jio Platforms reported a 13.7% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to ₹8,389 crore for the September 2026 quarter. Revenue from operations increased 11.4% to ₹40,475 crore, while EBITDA rose 16.6% to ₹21,879 crore and EBITDA margin expanded 250 basis points to 54.1%.

Jio Platforms said subscriber additions, higher average revenue per user, and growth in digital services supported the quarter. Total subscribers rose 7.1% year on year to 54.24 crore from 50.64 crore, with net additions of 91 lakh in the quarter. Monthly ARPU increased to ₹218.8 from ₹211.4 a year earlier and ₹215.6 in the June quarter, while average monthly data consumption per user rose 14.2% to 44.2 GB.

Jio Platforms said revenue from connectivity grew 11% and digital services revenue grew 16% in the quarter. Total data traffic rose 22.1% year on year to 71.3 billion GB, and 5G accounted for nearly 56% of total wireless traffic.

Jio Platforms said it crossed 30 crore 5G subscribers during the quarter after adding 6.6 crore 5G users over the previous 12 months. Its fixed broadband subscriber base reached 3 crore, and Jio AirFiber had 15.1 million subscribers, contributing more than 75% of Jio's fixed broadband additions over the last 12 months.
