Vodafone Business expands Geely Europe vehicle connectivity deal

Vodafone Business and Geely Technology Europe, the European R&D organisation within Geely Auto Group, expanded their partnership to include Internet in the Car, Mobile Private Networks, and Cloud Connect services, according to a press release published by Total Telecom in June 2026.
Vodafone Business said its Internet in the Car service supports vehicle diagnostics and over-the-air software updates, while Cloud Connect handles secure data transfer between vehicles and cloud systems. Geely Technology Europe said these services help it monitor vehicle performance and support driver experience improvements. Vodafone also said it provides connectivity for Geely Technology Europe operations in Germany and Sweden and for its pan-European sales teams.
Geely Technology Europe said it develops vehicle architectures, digital platforms, and intelligent systems used for in-car internet and digital services including dynamic electric vehicle charging planning and 3D lane guidance. Vodafone said its vehicle services also support Zeekr Navigation by enabling in-vehicle customer feedback through always-on connectivity, which Geely said helps shorten development cycles and speed up issue identification and updates.
Vodafone Business said it is providing services designed for cybersecurity, data protection, and regulatory compliance across regions. The company said its Internet in the Car offer combines its global managed Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity platform, with more than 240 million connections worldwide, and local internet service providers. The source also cited an industry expectation that more than 98% of new passenger vehicles sold will be connected by 2030.
