TCS and Anthropic expand Claude use to 50,000 employees

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) partnered with Anthropic to accelerate enterprise AI adoption, with a focus on regulated sectors including financial services, public services, life sciences, healthcare, aviation, telecom, and medtech. TCS said it joined Anthropic’s Claude Partner Network as a Global Premier Partner and will establish a dedicated business unit to deliver industry services and AI expertise built on Anthropic’s Claude family of models.
TCS said it will provide Anthropic’s Claude AI assistant to more than 50,000 employees across engineering, finance, legal, marketing, and sales. The companies said they will jointly go to market with AI capabilities for enterprise customers in sectors where accuracy, auditability, and governance requirements have slowed deployments.
The partnership also includes TCS businesses and platforms in the UK and India. Diligenta, TCS’s UK-based life and pensions business, has more than 22 million customers and will use Claude for customer experience work. TCS iON, which conducts more than 75 million annual assessments across 1,500 cities in India, will deliver learning and certification programmes on Claude models. Mobile World Live also reported Anthropic’s valuation at $965 billion.
