T-Mobile raises promo device limit to four per account
T-Mobile now allows up to four promotional devices on a single account, up from two previously, according to a GSM Arena report published in January 2025.
TL;DR
T-Mobile changed its promotional device policy to allow up to four discounted smartphones on a single account. GSM Arena reported that, until last month, new customers could receive only two discounted smartphones per account.
GSM Arena said the previous two-device limit created problems for households that wanted four devices on one account, such as a family of four. The report said complaints from T-Mobile sales representatives led the company to revise the terms.
The updated T-Mobile policy also extends to existing customers who received free lines through the "Line On Us" promotion. GSM Arena reported that those users will also be able to access the higher four-device promotional limit.
