T-Mobile limits Keep & Switch and Family Freedom from July 9
TL;DR
T-Mobile will limit its Keep & Switch and Family Freedom promotions to brand-new customer accounts from July 9. T-Mobile's support pages state that existing accounts will not be eligible for either promotion from that date.
The change means existing T-Mobile voice customers will no longer be able to use Keep & Switch or Family Freedom when adding a new line. Android Authority cited The Mobile Report as first detailing the updated terms.
The restriction follows T-Mobile's recent confirmation that it is retiring some legacy plans and moving customers to newer options. Android Authority reported the promotions change after that earlier plan-retirement update.
