Fierce Network reported that T-Mobile customer Alex Gerwer was notified late last month that two legacy plans on his account were being deprecated and that he would be automatically moved to newer plans on July 13. Gerwer said he filed complaints with T-Mobile, the Attorney General of California, and the FCC.
Gerwer said his complaint cited a 2024 T-Mobile guarantee that stated, “We won’t raise your internet rate. Ever.” Android Authority reported that Gerwer said the FCC was taking action, but the report did not specify what action the agency had taken.
