Spotify adds mobile Playlist Folders and Premium playback tools

Spotify expanded its mobile app feature set by bringing Playlist Folders to mobile. Android Authority reported that Playlist Folders had previously been a desktop-exclusive feature and are now available on mobile for all Spotify users.
Spotify also introduced several features limited to Spotify Premium subscribers. Android Authority said these Premium-only additions include a reshuffle button and background downloads on iPhone.
The update follows other recent Spotify product changes referenced by Android Authority, including Personal Podcasts and an expansion of Verified by Spotify. The report describes the latest release as focused on making it easier to manage music and listen on mobile devices.
