Orange raises 2024 outlook after Q2 growth and MasOrange takeover
TL;DR: Orange said it raised its full-year 2024 outlook after reporting faster second-quarter growth, supported by the consolidation of MasOrange in Spain and underlying operating growth.
Orange said in the second quarter of 2024 that its growth accelerated after it took over all of MasOrange in Spain. The company said the transaction contributed to second-quarter performance and supported a higher full-year outlook.
Orange said the improved outlook followed organic growth in the second quarter alongside the MasOrange effect in Spain. The company linked the stronger quarterly result to both the change in consolidation scope and underlying business performance.
Telecompaper reported that Orange raised its fiscal-year outlook after the second-quarter update. The report identified Spain and MasOrange as key factors in the revised guidance.
