Orange Business to equip 15,000 staff at GHT Rouen with genAI
Orange Business said it won a deal to deploy its Live Intelligence generative AI platform for French public hospital group GHT Rouen Coeur de Seine, covering 15,000 health professionals.

Orange Business, the enterprise unit of Orange, said the long-term partnership with GHT Rouen Coeur de Seine includes infrastructure, strategy and operational support. The company said it will deploy Live Intelligence across the hospital group as a secure, sovereign generative AI platform hosted in France and connected to the group’s information systems.
Rouen University Hospital, the support entity for GHT Rouen Coeur de Seine, selected the platform to govern AI usage across its workforce. Orange Business said the deployment is intended to support clinical, administrative and technical staff and create a common framework for generative AI training and responsible use.
Orange Business said research teams at Rouen University Hospital are already using generative AI to speed up grant applications, reducing the process from three weeks to two days. The company added that sourcing requests involving specifications and evaluation criteria could be reduced from two weeks to one day. The partners also plan a long-term innovation programme with other university hospitals to develop healthcare AI use cases.
