Orange Business to equip 15,000 staff at GHT Rouen with genAI

Source: mobileworldlive.comJune 4, 2026

Orange Business said it won a deal to deploy its Live Intelligence generative AI platform for French public hospital group GHT Rouen Coeur de Seine, covering 15,000 health professionals.

TL;DR

  • Orange Business will supply Live Intelligence to GHT Rouen Coeur de Seine in France.
  • The deployment is intended to cover 15,000 health professionals across the hospital group.
  • Rouen University Hospital selected the platform to govern AI use and provide a controlled alternative to public AI tools.
  • Orange Business said early use cases reduced grant application work from three weeks to two days and could cut sourcing requests from two weeks to one day.

Orange Business, the enterprise unit of Orange, said the long-term partnership with GHT Rouen Coeur de Seine includes infrastructure, strategy and operational support. The company said it will deploy Live Intelligence across the hospital group as a secure, sovereign generative AI platform hosted in France and connected to the group’s information systems.

Rouen University Hospital, the support entity for GHT Rouen Coeur de Seine, selected the platform to govern AI usage across its workforce. Orange Business said the deployment is intended to support clinical, administrative and technical staff and create a common framework for generative AI training and responsible use.

Orange Business said research teams at Rouen University Hospital are already using generative AI to speed up grant applications, reducing the process from three weeks to two days. The company added that sourcing requests involving specifications and evaluation criteria could be reduced from two weeks to one day. The partners also plan a long-term innovation programme with other university hospitals to develop healthcare AI use cases.
