OpenAI to add 250 Dublin jobs by 2027 at European HQ

OpenAI said it will expand its European headquarters in Dublin by adding 250 jobs over the next two years. The company announced the plan as it responds to rising demand for its AI services across Europe.
OpenAI leased an 88,000 sq ft office at the Tropical Fruit Warehouse in Dublin’s docklands and said it will relocate its European headquarters there later in 2026. OpenAI said it currently employs more than 100 people in Dublin and established its European headquarters in the city in 2023.
OpenAI said the new roles will cover engineering, sales, user operations, human resources, finance, privacy, legal, corporate secretarial and workplace teams. OpenAI also said it will expand its OpenAI for Ireland programme, which supports young developers, start-ups and SMEs with AI skills and training, and added that ChatGPT now has more than 1 million users in Ireland.
