OSK11 uses dual-power substations, carrier-neutral connectivity across a range of networks, and an air-cooling system with back-up options for redundancy. NTT said the site also includes on-site security protections and multi-factor access controls. NTT Global Data Centres operates the facility, which is the company's 14th data centre in Japan.
The opening adds capacity as NTT targets demand from enterprises and hyperscale companies in Japan as AI and cloud use increases.
