Google renames NotebookLM to Gemini Notebook

Google announced that NotebookLM has been renamed Gemini Notebook. Google said the platform itself is not changing and that the update is limited to branding.
Google previously added a Gemini feature called Notebooks in April. Google said that feature lets users start research projects inside Gemini and later continue them inside NotebookLM, and that workflow remains available after the rename to Gemini Notebook.
Google said notebooks will eventually be accessible through AI Mode in Search. The source did not provide a launch date or additional product changes beyond the rename from NotebookLM to Gemini Notebook.
