Google launches information agents for AI Ultra subscribers

Google first announced Search agents at I/O 2026. The company said Search agents would let users create AI agents for multiple tasks, and that information agents would be the first part of that rollout in the summer.
According to the source report, information agents let users track information and get timely updates. Google said the feature will expand beyond AI Ultra subscribers in the summer.
