‘We. Won’t. Stop.’ — T-Mobile US responds to AT&T lawsuit
AT&T has sued T-Mobile US, claiming T-Mobile’s new Easy Switch onboarding tool uses AI bots to unlawfully access and scrape AT&T customer data. The complaint centers on how Easy Switch connects to AT&T’s systems during the process of moving a line from one carrier to another.
T-Mobile rejects the allegation and frames Easy Switch as a transparent, permission-based system that works only with customer consent to help people change carriers with less hassle. The company says AT&T is trying to make switching harder through “friction” and now through litigation, while T-Mobile positions its tool as a customer-focused alternative that keeps the process simple and clear.
