T-Mobile expands $50 bill credit for credit card sign-ups

Source: Android AuthorityApril 30, 2026
TL;DR:
  • T-Mobile is offering a $50 bill credit to customers who sign up for its T-Mobile credit card through the T-Life app.
  • The $50 bill credit offer previously applied to in-store credit card sign-ups.
  • T-Mobile's credit card supports AutoPay and offers 2% cash back on purchases and 5% back on T-Mobile phones, devices, and accessories.

T-Mobile has expanded its $50 bill credit offer for new T-Mobile credit card sign-ups to the T-Life app, according to Android Authority. The offer previously existed for retail store sign-ups, and customers now qualify by applying through the offer shown in T-Life.

Android Authority reported that T-Mobile introduced its in-house credit card last year after removing the AutoPay discount for standard credit cards. The T-Mobile credit card supports AutoPay, offers 2% cash back on all purchases, and offers 5% cash back on T-Mobile phones, devices, and accessories.

This update concerns T-Mobile's billing and customer acquisition strategy rather than eSIM service, device compatibility, or Remote SIM Provisioning (RSP), the technology used to download eSIM profiles over the air. For mobile operators, app-based promotions such as this can shift sign-up activity from retail stores to digital channels including T-Life.
