Google NotebookLM adds editable flashcards for all users
TL;DR
- Google has made flashcards in NotebookLM editable.
- Users can edit both flashcard questions and responses.
- The feature is live for all NotebookLM users, including free users.
Google recently updated NotebookLM to let users edit flashcards, including both the question and the response. Android Authority reported the change and cited a NotebookLM post on X announcing the update.
The update addresses a limitation in NotebookLM's learning tools, which previously did not let users customize generated flashcards. The new editing option applies to flashcards created inside NotebookLM's Assisted Learning features.
Android Authority said the feature is available to all NotebookLM users, including users on the free tier. The report did not specify a launch date beyond saying Google announced the change recently.
