Vodacom posts double-digit revenue growth as Egypt powers Q3 performance
Vodacom delivered an 11% year-on-year rise in group revenue to ZAR43.9 billion in its third quarter, supported by growth across all its operating units and particularly strong momentum in Egypt. The company said its Egyptian business was the main engine behind the double-digit gain, underscoring the strategic value of that market in its broader regional portfolio.
The quarter’s performance reflects wider contributions from Vodacom’s footprint, but Egypt stood out as the key driver of top-line growth. Management framed the results as evidence that its multi-country approach is paying off, with the Egyptian operation now central to sustaining the group’s revenue trajectory.
