Telkom Indonesia is weighing the sale of a large stake in its data centre subsidiary NeutraDC, aiming to raise about US$1.5 billion, according to reports. The move would help the state-controlled operator tap rising investor demand for digital infrastructure across Southeast Asia.
NeutraDC runs Telkom’s data centre assets, which serve cloud providers and enterprise customers. A stake sale would free up cash for Telkom’s broader network and digital plans while bringing in a partner to help expand capacity. The company has not disclosed the size of the stake under review or a timeline for any deal.
