Telefonica and Dazn pay EUR 5.25 bln to retain domestic La Liga rights until 2032

Spain’s La Liga has sold its domestic TV rights for the 2027–2032 seasons to Telefonica and streaming platform Dazn for a total of EUR 5.25 billion, according to the league. The deal extends the current partnership and keeps both companies as the main way to watch top-tier Spanish football in the country.
The new agreement covers live broadcasts of La Liga matches in Spain over five seasons, locking in a major long-term content asset for Telefonica and Dazn and providing La Liga with stable media income through 2032. Financial details beyond the total value and basic structure of the rights package were not disclosed.
