Singtel pilots 50 Gbps fibre broadband trial in Singapore
Singtel has started a technical trial of 50 Gbps fibre broadband in Singapore, using XGS-PON technology. The company says it is the first operator in the country to test this speed tier.
The pilot is designed to assess the performance and stability of 50 Gbps connections over fibre, ahead of any decision on commercial rollout. Details such as pricing, launch timelines, or customer availability have not been announced.
