Samsung, Apple, Infinix and Honor win GLOMO awards at MWC 2026
As MWC 2026 wrapped up in Barcelona, the GSMA handed out its annual GLOMO awards, with top honors going to phones that weren’t even launched at the show itself.
Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra took the “Best in Show” award, while Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro series was named “Best Smartphone,” despite both devices having been announced earlier and Apple’s win technically covering two models under a single title. In the entry-level “Best Device” category, Infinix and Honor also picked up GLOMO awards, rounding out a year in which the industry’s headline hardware came from familiar brands, regardless of their actual presence on the MWC stage.
