Insta360 launches upgraded Link 2 Pro and Link 2C Pro webcams with huge 1/1.3" sensors
Insta360 has released Pro versions of its Link 2 and Link 2C webcams, both built around much larger 1/1.3" sensors, a clear jump from the 1/2" sensors in the earlier models. The Link 2 Pro keeps the gimbal-mounted design that follows a subject around the room and can pair with Insta360’s Wave Speakerphone for conference calls. It uses an 84° f/1.9 lens and lets users set a custom Tracking Area in the Insta360 app so the camera only follows movement within a defined zone.
The Link 2C Pro targets simpler desktop setups, carrying over the same sensor upgrade but without the gimbal. Both models aim to improve image quality in typical webcam conditions, especially in low light, by relying on that larger sensor rather than software tricks. Full details, including pricing and regional availability, are listed by Insta360 and covered by GSMArena.
