Eutelsat and unconnected.org to bring community Wi-Fi to Tanzania
Satellite operator Eutelsat is teaming up with global non-profit unconnected.org to roll out satellite-powered community Wi-Fi in underserved parts of Tanzania.
The partners aim to use satellite links to bring shared internet access to communities that lack reliable connectivity today, with an eye to extending the model to other African countries once the initial deployments are in place.
