Elisa puts cybersecurity at the core of its network operations
Finnish operator Elisa has reworked how it runs its network by folding cybersecurity directly into day-to-day operations. Instead of treating security as a separate function, Elisa now combines cyber defenses with service operations monitoring so its teams see performance and security issues in the same view.
The company leans on automation to flag anomalies and possible attacks early, aiming to detect and contain incidents before they disrupt customers. Elisa argues this integrated approach shortens response times, improves visibility across the network and reduces the risk of problems spreading silently in the background.
