Xiaomi 17 Ultra Photography Kit and Photography Kit Pro hands-on
Xiaomi is treating its 17 Ultra more like a compact camera than a phone, and these new kits push it further in that direction. The Photography Kit and the Photography Kit Pro focus on physical controls and handling rather than extra glass.
The Pro kit builds around a camera-style grip that locks onto the 17 Ultra, adding a shutter button, zoom and control dials, and a more secure hold for two-handed shooting. The standard Photography Kit offers a simpler setup with fewer controls but the same idea: make the 17 Ultra easier to use like a dedicated camera. Neither kit adds new lenses or sensors; they exist to give photographers more direct, manual control over the hardware that’s already in the phone.
