Vodafone Qatar and Chinese communications vendor Hytera used the GSMA’s first MWC25 Doha event to renew and extend a long-running partnership aimed at key sectors of the Qatari economy.
The two companies signed a new memorandum of understanding to develop secure, reliable communications services for public safety agencies, utilities and organisations in transport, health and construction. The deal leans on Vodafone’s network infrastructure and Hytera’s professional communications systems to improve coordination, safety and service quality, backing Qatar’s broader plan to use digital technology as a growth driver.
