Viettel passes target of 20,000 new 5G sites by end-2025
Vietnamese operator Viettel says it has already beaten its government commitment to roll out 20,000 new 5G sites in Vietnam before the end of this year.
The company had pledged to hit the 20,000-site mark by end-2025, but now reports it has passed that target ahead of schedule. Viettel did not immediately share full rollout details, but the faster build suggests Vietnam’s 5G coverage will expand more quickly than originally planned, especially in key urban areas where demand for mobile data is highest.
