Verizon offers customers USD 20 credit after major service outage
Verizon is offering a USD 20 bill credit to some US mobile customers after an hours-long network outage on 14 January. The disruption left users unable to make calls, send texts or use data for part of the day.
The company said eligible customers will see the one-time credit automatically applied to their accounts and do not need to contact customer service. Verizon has not detailed how many users were affected, but described the issue as a significant service interruption and said it has restored normal operations.
