Verizon carves out 5G ‘premium lane’ for business fixed wireless
Verizon is setting aside part of its 5G spectrum for a new enterprise fixed wireless product called "5G Network Slice – Enhanced Internet." The offer targets large business customers that want faster, more predictable connections than standard 5G fixed wireless access.
By using network slicing, Verizon says it can give these customers higher performance and support service-level agreements, something it does not typically attach to its mainstream FWA services. The move positions this product as a premium tier for organizations that depend on stable connectivity for core operations rather than just basic broadband replacement.
