Tune Talk advances MNO transition with Mavenir cloud network deal
Malaysian operator Tune Talk has moved a step closer to shifting from a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) to a full mobile network operator (MNO), signing a deal with Mavenir to run its own end-to-end cloud-based network.
The agreement positions Tune Talk to rely less on host networks and gain more control over its services, network operations and future growth, as it builds out the infrastructure needed to operate as a standalone MNO.
