Telenor completes sale of Pakistani operations to PTCL
Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has closed its deal to buy Telenor’s business in Pakistan. The company said it completed the acquisition of 100 percent of the issued share capital of Telenor Pakistan and Orion Towers on 31 December 2025.
The transaction transfers full ownership of Telenor’s local mobile operations and related tower assets to PTCL, ending Telenor’s direct presence in the Pakistani telecom market.
