Telefonica Tech sells Colombia, Mexico and Chile operations to Hiberus
Telefonica has agreed to sell the operations of its Telefonica Tech unit in Colombia, Mexico and Chile to Spanish technology consultancy Hiberus. The companies did not disclose the sale price.
The deal shifts Telefonica Tech’s presence in these three Latin American markets to Hiberus, which expands its regional footprint through the acquisition. Telefonica keeps its broader regional interests while narrowing its direct tech unit operations in Latin America.
