Starlink is winning the LEO-based internet race in major markets
New data from network analytics firm Ookla shows Starlink pulling ahead of its low Earth orbit (LEO) rivals in key markets.
In most of the performance categories Ookla tracks, Starlink now leads other satellite broadband providers, reflecting rapid growth in both users and traffic. The report points to Starlink as the pace-setter in the LEO internet segment, while competitors trail across speed and reliability metrics in the major markets where they all operate.
