Soracom Opens Pre-Orders for SGP.32 IoT eSIM Orchestration

Soracom is opening pre-orders for Connectivity Hypervisor, its SGP.32‑compatible eSIM orchestration platform, aimed at IoT devices that need to switch between multiple mobile operators over long lifecycles. The system lets devices start on a Soracom profile, then remotely move to local or use‑case‑specific carrier profiles, including third‑party MNOs, based on region, regulation, or application needs. It supports single-SKU global hardware, multi-profile management, automatic fallback to Soracom profiles, and tools to stay within permanent roaming and VoLTE rules.

Soracom says its SGP.32 infrastructure, covering eUICC, eIM, and SM-DP+ components, has been under active testing since mid‑2025 and has already been validated in live automotive field trials using dynamic profile provisioning. Pre-orders target sectors like automotive, utilities, asset tracking, and healthcare, where connectivity requirements and providers can change over time or across borders. Commercial launch will track broader SGP.32 support from mobile network operators, with Soracom positioning Connectivity Hypervisor as a neutral control layer that keeps enterprises less dependent on any single carrier.
