SEA Airport taps Boldyn Networks for 5G connectivity

Source: lightreadingJanuary 13, 2026

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport has picked infrastructure provider Boldyn Networks to design, build and run a new 5G distributed antenna system across the property. The network will extend 5G coverage through the main terminal, concourses, airfield, rental car center and parking garage.

The long-term agreement puts Boldyn in charge of the underlying wireless infrastructure, which mobile operators can then use to deliver 5G service to passengers, staff and airport operations. The goal is to improve coverage and capacity in crowded indoor areas and on the airfield, where reliable connections support both traveler use and airport systems.
