Samsung showcases foldable display with no visible crease at CES 2026
At CES 2026, Samsung Display quietly showed off a new foldable screen that aims to fix one of the biggest complaints about foldable phones: the crease. Images shared by tipster Ice Universe suggest the panel has no visible crease where it folds, a clear step beyond most current foldable displays.
The new panel, presented alongside Samsung’s other announcements such as a 130‑inch Micro RGB TV, is reportedly intended for Apple’s rumored iPhone Fold. If the technology holds up outside the demo floor, it could set a new baseline for what users expect from foldable screens, both in look and feel.
