Pan-African network operator Paratus Group has activated a new terrestrial fibre route in East Africa, linking cities across Kenya, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Rwanda and Uganda.
The cross-border connection is designed to carry traffic between these markets over land rather than relying solely on separate national links, aiming to strengthen regional connectivity for operators and enterprises that need more direct routes between the four countries.
